Sales rose by 25 percent to 794.4 million Swiss francs, or by as much as 35 percent when adjusted for currency effects. The growth came from all regions and product categories, as the Zurich-based company, which is listed in the USA, announced on Wednesday.
Adjusted operating profit (EBITDA) increased by 50 percent to 179.9 million Swiss francs, while the margin reached 22.6 percent after 18.9 percent in the previous year. On the bottom line, On achieved a net profit of 118.9 million Swiss francs - almost three times as much as in the previous year.
According to On, the improvements are attributable to efficiency gains, continued high demand and stronger positioning in the premium segment. In addition, exchange rate effects were less negative than in the previous year.
In view of the positive development, On is raising its outlook for the full year 2025: currency-adjusted sales growth of 34% is now expected (previously "at least" 31%), with an adjusted EBITDA margin of over 18% (previously 17.0-17.5%).
