The Solothurn cantonal police confirmed a corresponding report from "20 Minuten" on Friday morning at the request of Keystone-SDA. According to the police, the accident occurred in the area of the Gunzgen Süd and Gunzgen Nord service stations in the direction of Bern. Several vehicles were involved.

As a result of the accident, the highway had to be closed to traffic for a short time in the affected section. The TCS also reported a temporary closure between Rothrist and the Härkingen junction in both directions. The recovery and clean-up work continued.
