Accident Person fatally injured by train in Neuhausen SH

One person has died in a train accident in Neuhausen SH. The public prosecutor's office assumes that it was an accident, as the Schaffhausen police announced on Wednesday.

The accident occurred at around 1 p.m. at Rheinfall station. It is still unclear how the collision occurred, according to the statement.

Around 200 people were traveling on the train from Schaffhausen to Zurich. They had to be looked after by the emergency services and taken off the train. However, they were able to continue their journey on a replacement train. The section at Rheinfall station remained closed until 4 p.m.
