Police seized a tonne of cannabis in the indoor plant in Spreitenbach in the canton of Aargau.

The Zurich cantonal police have unearthed a cannabis plant in Spreitenbach in the canton of Aargau and seized a tonne of cannabis. The officers also found several weapons, ammunition, a bulletproof vest and cash in the indoor plant. Three men were arrested.
The investigators pulled off the coup on Thursday, as the police wrote on Saturday. "Police tips" had led them to the building in Spreitenbach, the press release continued.
The investigators first observed a man leaving the house and driving away in a car. During the subsequent check, the officers found "evidence of marijuana" and 30,000 euros in cash on the 36-year-old German man. He was arrested.
An hour later, the investigators observed two more men entering the building. The 26-year-old Kosovar and the 29-year-old Albanian were also checked and arrested on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Act and immigration regulations.
When the police finally went inside the building themselves, they found 24,000 prohibited cannabis plants and a ton of cannabis products containing THC. They also seized several weapons, ammunition and a bulletproof vest as well as around CHF 11,000 in cash.
The three men arrested must now answer to the courts.
