Trial Prosecutor demands custody for 29-year-old in Zurich court
The public prosecutor's office has demanded an 18-year prison sentence and custody for a 29-year-old Romanian man at the district court in Hinwil ZH. The man is accused of two brutal rapes.

In addition to the prison sentence and custody, the responsible public prosecutor demanded a 15-year expulsion from the country for the accused in his plea on Thursday morning.
During his questioning, the 29-year-old man confirmed earlier confessions. He had committed terrible acts for which he was very sorry.
The public prosecutor's office accuses him of raping and beating a 23-year-old woman in Wetzikon ZH in August 2022. In February 2023, he raped a 63-year-old woman in a wooded area near Wädenswil ZH. He was arrested on the same day.
