In the first half of 2024, the number of punctual flights was 94.6%, as skyguide announced on Wednesday. Most of the delays in 2025 were weather-related.
The result was a plus of CHF 8 million. Skyguide is confident that it will be able to repay a federal loan of CHF 250 million from the coronavirus era by 2029.
The programme structure of the Virtual Centre digitization project is due to be completed in 2027. In May 2025, the Swiss Federal Audit Office assumed that the project would not be completed until 2031 at the earliest. It spoke of "worrying developments". According to Skyguide, the program will have financed itself by the time it is completed.
