German rapper Haftbefehl took to the stage again last night - but his club performance in Giessen was over after just a few songs. The musician's second concert following the release of his successful Netflix documentary in Giessen, Hesse, only lasted around 15 minutes, as reported by a dpa reporter on site. The rapper was led in by security staff and then escorted out again.

It was only on Saturday night that Aykut Anhan (39), Haftbefehl's real name, gave his eagerly awaited first concert in Osnabrück following the release of the Netflix documentary "Babo - Die Haftbefehl-Story". The much-discussed documentary focuses on the fact that the musician used cocaine for years. In Osnabrück, he assured the fans: "I'm clean." Even there, he was only on stage for around half an hour.
Euro bills for the audience - but no words
Club La Louve in Giessen was also well filled on Sunday night when Haftbefehl took to the stage shortly after 2.00 am. Unlike in Osnabrück, however, he did not speak to the fans. Instead, Haftbefehl threw euro bills into the audience during his performance. Once again, the rapper kept most of his face covered up to his eyes. He also wore sunglasses.
The Netflix documentary about Haftbefehl reached millions of views just a few days after its release at the end of October and shot to number one in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It revolves around his difficult family history, street crime, fame, depression and almost fatal drug use - and spans an arc from his childhood in Offenbach's Mainpark high-rise district to his rise to the top of the charts as a hip-hop star.
