Rail traffic on the line between Olten SO and Zurich is interrupted between Schönenwerd SO and Rupperswil AG. The reason for this is an external event. The restriction will last until at least 7.30 p.m., as SBB announced online.
The interruption occurred between Schönenwerd SO and Rupperswil AG, according to the Railinfo rail information website. SBB expected delays, cancellations and detour earlier in the evening. This affects 19 lines, including TGV, IC, ICE, EC and S-Bahn lines.
From Lenzburg and Schönenwerd to Aarau, the railroad company used replacement buses. Travelers between Zurich and Bern should travel via Lucerne. Between Olten and Zurich, SBB recommended traveling via Basel.
