Rivella sold a total of 95 million liters of beverages in 2025, which is 1 million liters less than in the previous year. However, the beverage manufacturer achieved 3 percent higher sales of 140 million Swiss francs.
Rivella achieved growth primarily with the "Focuswater" brand. According to the press release, sales of the vitamin water brand increased at a double-digit rate. There is a general trend towards light, low-sugar drinks. Within the Rivella range, Rivella Blau Zero Zucker has seen particularly strong growth.
The beverage manufacturer has invested heavily in the production of these light drinks. According to a press release, 16 million Swiss francs have been invested in the new Focuswater bottling plant over the past two years.
New Co-CEO from August
In addition to the business figures, Rivella also announced a change in the management team. Co-CEO Erland Brügger will be leaving the company at the end of July to concentrate on his Board of Directors mandates and new projects. Brügger was CEO of Rivella for over 12 years before becoming Co-CEO in 2023.
He will be succeeded by Christoph Messerli as the new Co-CEO. Messerli has been CFO of Rivella since 2012. He shares the management mandate with Silvan Brauen.
