Fire, fire Rorschach mayor wants to rebuild bathhouse after fire

The historic bathhouse in Rorschach TG, which burnt down early Monday morning, will be rebuilt. This was said in a brief, initial statement by the mayor of Rorschach, Robert Raths (FDP), on the total loss of the hundred-year-old bathhouse.

"The bathing hut will be rebuilt", Raths (FDP) explained at the request of Keystone-SDA. Raths did not provide any further details.

The fire in the bathhouse, which was largely made of wood, was reported to the cantonal emergency call center at 3.30 am. When the first emergency services arrived, the venerable building was already fully engulfed in flames, the police wrote in a statement. The police are not aware of any injuries.
