Pop star Sabrina Carpenter ("Espresso", "Manchild") has expressed her outrage at a White House video showing the arrest of migrants - accompanied by her song Juno. "This video is vicious and disgusting. Never include me or my music in your inhumane agenda," she wrote on the X platform.

In the video posted by the White House, demonstrators can first be seen protesting against the immigration authority ICE. Security forces can then be seen handcuffing one man and throwing another to the ground. The lyrics to the song Juno "Have you ever tried this one?" play in a loop. (Have you ever tried this one?). The song implies that it is about sexual positions.

The Hill quoted a White House spokeswoman as saying: "We make no apologies for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who defends these sick monsters must be stupid."

Carpenter is a friend of pop star Taylor Swift, who supported Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the presidential election campaign and was attacked by Trump for doing so. However, he had congratulated Swift on her engagement to NFL player Travis Kelce.
