A train driver reported at 9 p.m. that he had driven over a concrete slab at 140 km/h in the Wöschnau area, the Aargau cantonal police announced on Monday. It was only thanks to good luck that there was no train accident.
The police stopped three teenagers aged between 13 and 15 at the Wöschnauring pedestrian underpass. The two teenagers and one teenager were from the region. The youth welfare office ordered an investigation. They provisionally arrested the alleged main perpetrator of the group, according to the police.
Before the three youths were located, a third party had reported that a stone had been thrown at his car while he was driving. Patrols from the Aarau municipal police and the cantonal police therefore searched for the perpetrators. Property damage was caused in both cases. No persons were injured.
