SBB ticket sales at ticket machines and online possible again

Due to technical problems, it was not possible to buy SBB tickets on Wednesday evening.

SBB ticket sales were severely restricted on Wednesday evening. Due to a technical fault, ticket machines and ticket sales via SBB.ch and SBB Mobile were down.

SBB ticket sales are possible again. Prior to this, there was a disruption lasting several hours on Wednesday evening.

It was not possible to sell tickets via ticket machines, SBB.ch or SBB Mobile. Ticket sales at ticket counters and by train attendants on the train "worked in part".

The railroad was initially unable to estimate how long "the technical problems" would last. At around 10.30 p.m., SBB announced on X, formerly Twitter, that tickets could be purchased again "on all channels".
