The Schaffhausen High Court has confirmed the discontinuation of proceedings ordered by the public prosecutor's office in the case of F. W. from Schaffhausen. W. had accused a man of raping her after a joint party visit.

The Schaffhausen High Court dismissed W.'s appeal against the discontinuation of the proceedings, as can be seen from the decision made at the end of January. The decision is available to the Keystone-SDA news agency.

As reported by "SRF Rundschau" last May, the allegation of rape was the reason why W. was invited to the apartment of a Schaffhausen lawyer at the end of December 2021 - allegedly to prevent her from pressing charges. In the apartment, W. was beaten up by several men, as images from surveillance cameras show.
