Media The MAZ Lucerne School of Journalism has a new management team

The MAZ School of Journalism in Lucerne has adapted its management structure. The institution is now headed by a four-member Executive Board.

The previous Director Martina Fehr will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as announced by MAZ Lucerne on Wednesday. Beat Rüdt will become Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Deputy CEO. Barbara Lüthi will become Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Christian Flückiger Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The new management is intended to strengthen the MAZ in the long term, as Felix E. Müller, President of the Foundation, was quoted in the press release. "With this reorganization, a broad spectrum of competencies, which are necessary for further professionalization, can be bundled in the Executive Board."

Martina Fehr describes the reorganization as a "milestone", as the press release went on to say. She is looking forward to devoting more time to strategic issues in addition to organizational development.
