Both the service-citoyen initiative and the Juso inheritance tax initiative are likely to fail by a wide margin in the federal vote at the end of November. In the second wave of surveys conducted by SRG and "20 Minuten"/Tamedia, the "no" votes increased.

In the first polls in October, supporters and opponents of the "For a committed Switzerland (service-citizen initiative)" initiative were still evenly balanced. However, if the vote had been held on November 8, 64% would have rejected the service for all, as the SRG announced on Wednesday. This means that the "yes" share lost 18 percentage points.

The second survey wave conducted by "20 Minuten"/Tamedia on November 12 and 13 came to the same conclusion. According to the survey, 70 percent wanted to reject the service-citoyen initiative.

According to the SRG, 68% wanted to reject the Juso popular initiative "For a social climate policy - fairly financed through taxation (Initiative for a future)". Opposition grew by 11 percentage points. At "20 Minuten/Tamedia, the rejection rate was 75 percent.
