Drug trafficking Spaniard arrested in Lugano for cocaine trafficking

The Ticino cantonal police have arrested a 48-year-old Spaniard in Lugano as part of an anti-drug search. The man is suspected of being involved in extensive cocaine trafficking.

The arrested man lives in the Lugano area, the Ticino cantonal police and public prosecutor's office announced on Monday. The 48-year-old is accused of a serious offense against the Federal Narcotics Act.

Investigations in collaboration with the anti-drug services of the Lugano municipal police have already led to the arrest of four people, the press release concludes.
