Media SRG closes 2024 with a balanced result
SRG closed 2024 with a balanced annual result of CHF 15.3 million. According to the press release, advertising revenue contributed to this, which was higher than in average years due to major sporting events.

SRG also announced on Thursday that the cost-saving measures were taking effect. The 2024 operating income of CHF 1.56 billion increased by CHF 17.8 million compared to the previous year. This was mainly due to the last full inflation adjustment on the media levy of around CHF 70 million. Operating expenses are CHF 38.8 million higher than in the previous year.
According to SRG, commercial income amounted to CHF 207.8 million, a decrease of CHF 1.8 million. Thanks to major sporting events, however, advertising income remained practically stable, although sponsorship contributions continued to decline. The long-term trend in commercial income also declined sharply, the report continued.
