The Spanish weather service has issued a storm warning. At high altitudes, especially on Menorca, gale-force winds are to be expected - gusts could reach wind speeds of up to 110 kilometers per hour.

Waves up to six meters high are expected on the coasts. In addition, heavy hail showers and rain could fall locally. Temperatures are expected to range between a cool 6 degrees at night and up to 18 degrees during the day. The weather is expected to calm down again from Sunday evening.
