Courier service Swiss Post achieves lower operating profit in the first nine months
Swiss Post achieved an operating result of 183 million francs in the first nine months to the end of September 2025. This is 58 million francs less than in the prior-year period.

However, Swiss Post was able to increase Group profit by 7 million francs to 193 million francs by the end of the third quarter, as Swiss Post wrote in a press release on Tuesday. Postfinance had significantly supported the result of the entire Group.
As expected, letter volumes continued to fall by 4.3 percent. This had a significant impact on the overall result. According to Swiss Post, over-the-counter payments also fell by a further 9.2 percent.
Swiss Post delivered more parcels in the first nine months of 2025 (+3.5 percent) and transported more passengers in its Postbuses, it added.
