From 2026, around 90 pilots per year will then be trained in the new simulator, as Swiss announced in a press release on Wednesday. In addition, around 1,800 cabin crew members will be trained for the new aircraft this year.

Swiss is expecting ten brand-new Airbus A350-900s from the summer to replace the old Airbus A340-300 aircraft.
