A teenager crashed his motorcycle into the rear of a car in Hägendorf SO on Thursday and suffered serious injuries. The 31-year-old driver of the car was uninjured, as reported by the Solothurn cantonal police on Friday.

The 16-year-old was driving from Rickenbach on Oltnerstrasse in Hägendorf shortly before 1 p.m. when the rear-end collision occurred. The scooter rider was taken to hospital by ambulance, according to the police. His motorcycle was totally damaged.
