A 19-year-old Swiss man attempted to break into a kindergarten in Füllinsdorf BL in several places. The suspected perpetrator was arrested by the police on Saturday morning shortly before 06:00.
According to the Basel-Landschaft police, the suspect used force to resist arrest. However, the man was overpowered by the police.
A resident had contacted the police after hearing suspicious noises, it said. The public prosecutor's office opened proceedings. The property suffered considerable damage.
