Road traffic accident 89-year-old dies in hospital after single-vehicle accident in Gockhausen

A driver sustained head injuries in a single-vehicle accident in the Dübendorf district of Gockhausen on Wednesday afternoon. The 89-year-old died in hospital on Thursday night.

According to a statement from the Zurich cantonal police, the accident was probably caused by a medical problem on the part of the driver. At around 11.45 a.m., he was driving straight ahead at a junction and collided with a wall and a parked vehicle.
