From Friday to Saturday, the Bern cantonal police carried out targeted speed measurements at several checkpoints in the municipality of Bern. A total of 93 vehicles were found to be speeding.

The checks were carried out overnight at five locations using laser devices, as the cantonal police announced on Sunday. A total of 93 speeding violations were recorded.
12 drivers will be reported to the responsible public prosecutor's office. After deducting the legal tolerance, one of the cars was measured at a speed of 86 kilometers per hour (km/h) instead of the permitted 60 km/h, according to the statement.
