Following an interruption to train services at Liestal station on Friday morning, operations are expected to resume in full from 11.30 am. Several lines are already back in operation, as an SBB spokeswoman told the Keystone-SDA news agency on request. The reason for the interruption was an external event.

In the meantime, the S-Bahn S3 is once again running continuously between Basel and Olten. The IC61 Basel-Bern-Interlaken Ost and the IR27 Basel-Lucerne are also running continuously again, the SBB spokeswoman added. The IC3, IC21, IR26 and IR37 are still subject to detour and cancellations.
