A 60-year-old electrician sustained undetermined injuries in a work accident on Obere Bahnhofstrasse in Wil SG on Monday morning. An ambulance took him to hospital.

The man was working on a construction site to join power cables, wrote the St. Gallen cantonal police in a statement on Tuesday. An electric arc was created in the process.
