Traffic accident Driver crashes into construction site and seriously injures worker

A 66-year-old female driver left the road on Thursday afternoon and crashed into a construction site vehicle. Two workers employed on the construction site had to be taken to hospital with serious and moderate injuries, according to the Thurgau cantonal police on Friday.

The driver also suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital, the statement added. The public prosecutor's office opened a criminal investigation.
