Chur city councillor Sandra Maissen is temporarily unable to perform her duties due to illness. The head of the Department of Construction, Planning and Environment suffered a stroke on August 13.

Her state of health is currently "positive" and "reassuring", as the councillor's family told the city of Chur. She is currently in hospital, the city of Chur announced on Monday.

During her convalescence, Mayor Urs Marti and Councillor Patrik Degiacomi will take over the department's duties. An elected deputy councillor will attend the city council meetings, it was reported.
