The reformed parish of Spreitenbach-Killwangen AG is being temporarily managed by a curator. Organizational consultant Martin Bihr is to guide the parish through the upcoming realignment, as announced by the Reformed Church of the Canton of Aargau on Tuesday.

On Monday (yesterday), the four members of the church council handed over the official duties to the curator. In consultation with the regional church's community advisory service, the church council asked for a board of trustees to be set up, according to the press release.

With three vacant seats, the resources of the church administration are too small to cope with the tasks ahead. The parish of Spreitenbach-Killwangen is facing a challenging realignment with the implementation of a real estate strategy and the merger clarifications with the parish of Wettingen-Neuenhof.

In addition, Pastor Stefan Siegrist has submitted his resignation at the end of April 2025, which means that the position needs to be filled. As an experienced organizational consultant, curator Martin Bihr has the knowledge to professionally guide the parish through the upcoming structural processes, the church continues.
