A cyclist lost control of his two-wheeler in Wassen UR on Friday afternoon and crashed into an oncoming car. The accident was probably caused by an overtaking motorcycle.

According to the Uri cantonal police, the motorcycle was traveling uphill. Its driver wanted to overtake a car and presumably entered the lane in which the bicycle was traveling downhill.
