Similasan sleep disorders globules recall (batch 17911)
In consultation with Swissmedic, Similasan AG is recalling batch 17911 of "Similasan Schlafstörungen Globuli", 15 g, as a precautionary measure. This is due to the fact that foreign bodies (glass) were found in a subsequent batch during internal quality controls.
So far, no such impurities have been detected in the affected batch. However, contamination cannot be ruled out with absolute certainty. Foreign bodies such as glass can cause injuries to the mouth or throat when ingested.

Metal parts in Peterli products - Coop launches recall
Coop has launched a precautionary recall for various products containing parsley. The reason is the possible contamination with metal contaminants, as the retailer writes in a press release. The products affected include "Freshly Made Protein Salad" (325 g), "Betty Bossi Salad Protein" (325 g), pre-packed prawn products (Butterfly Garlic and Tail on Garlic) and a pre-packed Sunday roast.
The items were only on sale in Coop stores, Coop to go, Coop City and Jumbo on January 28, 2026 and have an expiration date of January 30 or 31, 2026. Coop has already removed the products from the shelves. Customers who still have the affected goods at home are asked not to consume them but to return them to a sales outlet. The purchase price will be refunded in full.

Migros recalls sprout products
Migros is recalling numerous sprout products. MigrosMigros is recalling several sprout products as a precautionary measure. In some batches, contamination with salmonella cannot be ruled out.
The recall affects several sprout products that were sold in Migros stores in the Basel, Lucerne, Eastern Switzerland, Ticino and Zurich cooperatives as well as via Migros Online. According to Migros, it cannot be ruled out that individual batches are contaminated with salmonella. A health risk is therefore possible.
The affected products have already been withdrawn from sale in the stores and online store. Customers are asked not to consume the batches in question as a precautionary measure. In individual cases, symptoms such as fever, diarrhea or abdominal pain may occur after consumption. Anyone experiencing such symptoms should seek medical advice.
Products purchased in the supermarket can be returned to Migros stores; the purchase price will be refunded. According to the company, Migros Online customers will be contacted directly by customer service.
Other Migros sprout products - in particular from the Aare, Geneva, Neuchâtel-Fribourg, Vaud and Valais cooperatives - are not affected by the recall and can still be consumed.

Prohibited substance in "Slinmy Herbal Tea Drink Original"
The substance danthron has been detected in the product "Slinmy Herbal Tea Drink Original". According to the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO), a health risk cannot be ruled out.
Only the product with the lot number 6801 and the best-before date 02.04.2028 is affected. The points of sale in Switzerland, in particular Asian specialty stores, have withdrawn the affected product from sale and launched a recall.
Danthron is a chemical substance that is considered genotoxic and carcinogenic. This means that it can damage the genome and cause cancer. There is no safe daily intake level for danthron. The substance is therefore banned in food. The FSVO recommends that consumers do not consume the affected product. Goods that have already been purchased should not be used. Recall of certain eye drops Spersallerg SDU
The Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products Swissmedic reports: Théa Pharma SA is recalling the eye drops Spersallerg SDU, 20 monodoses of 0.3 ml with the batches 9T48 (best before 05/2027, on sale from October 2024 to January 2025) and 2V33 (best before 07/2027, on sale from January 2025). The medicine is used to treat allergic eye complaints, among other things.
The recall is being carried out because contamination and a rising pH value were detected during the shelf life of these batches. This can cause eye irritation and adverse reactions. Children, the elderly and people with existing eye conditions are particularly at risk. The pH value indicates the acidity of a solution.

Velofabrik recalls carbon forks

Public warning: Turkey and poultry merguez with salmonella in circulation
The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office and the Canton of Geneva are issuing a warning about turkey and poultry merguez of the brand "Galliwag" with the batch number 9775000217 and the use-by date 19.08.2025.
The product was sold at Aligro, Manor and Tamoil.
Salmonella (bacteria) was detected in the sausages. These can cause fever, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain after consumption. Young children, elderly people, pregnant women and people with a weakened immune system are particularly at risk.

Choking hazard: therapy swing for children from TheKiddoSpace
In cooperation with the responsible cantonal enforcement authority, the company SN Ecommerce LLP is recalling the "Therapy swing for children" of the brand TheKiddoSpace. The following information was published by the authorities' website Recall Swiss.

Recall: Brie Mariotte due to listeria
The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) is issuing a warning about individual batches of the French cheese "Brie Mariotte". Listeria (Listeria monocytogenes) was found in the affected products.
These are bacteria that usually only cause mild symptoms in healthy people, but can be dangerous or even fatal for pregnant women, newborns and people with a weakened immune system.
Batches C5153087 (use by date July 30, 2025), C5161090 (August 6, 2025) and C5168135 (August 13, 2025) are affected. The cheese was sold at various retailers.

The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) warns against "apricot kernels sweet dried" of the brand Naturkost F&S Furchat and Sakir with a best-before date of March 31, 2026. The product was sold at various retailers and immediately withdrawn from the market.
Tests revealed greatly increased levels of hydrogen cyanide (prussic acid). This natural substance in apricot kernels can cause severe poisoning.

"I AM" cleaning cloths at Migros
The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) warns against cleansing wipes for normal & combination skin of the brand I AM (article number 5266.315, batch 5159723). The wipes were sold throughout Switzerland in Migros stores and in the Migros online store.
The bacterium Pluralibacter gergoviae was detected in the wipes. It can cause skin irritation or infections in sensitive people. People with a weakened immune system or skin injuries are particularly at risk.
Do not use affected products. A specialist should be consulted if you are unsure after using the product.
