A group of men had an argument in the asylum accommodation on Chollerstrasse in Zug on Tuesday morning. Two residents were injured in the physical altercation and had to be taken to hospital. Six residents were temporarily arrested.

The two injured persons - a 37-year-old Iraqi and a 37-year-old Serb - were harassed and attacked by the six men, the Zug law enforcement authorities announced on Thursday. The Zug police arrested the six men from Turkey in order to question them. They were then released from custody.
The public prosecutor's office of the Canton of Zug has started an investigation in cooperation with the police.
