Traffic accident Driver slightly injured in serious accident in Boningen SO

A drunk driver escaped with minor injuries in an accident in Boningen SO on Friday night. The 24-year-old lost control of his vehicle on a left-hand bend and crashed into a tree, according to the Solothurn cantonal police. The vehicle was totally damaged.

The driver was driving on the Fulenbacherstrasse from Fulenbach in the direction of Boningen at around 01.00 a.m., according to the police. The car first collided with a tree stump and then with a tree, tearing off a large part of the right-hand side.

A breath alcohol test was positive and the 24-year-old had to surrender his driver's license. A towing service recovered the totally damaged car with a crane.
