A woman was hit by a drunk motorcyclist who had lost control of his vehicle in Willisau, Lucerne, on Saturday night. The 39-year-old was seriously injured and was flown to hospital by a rescue helicopter.

The accident occurred at 4 a.m. on the Bösegg side road. The 29-year-old motorcyclist had 1.32 per mille alcohol in his blood, according to a press release issued by the Lucerne public prosecutor's office on Monday.
