A 66-year-old e-bike rider collided with the side of an overtaking Postbus in Ennetmoos NW on Monday afternoon. The man suffered life-threatening head injuries. A Rega rescue helicopter flew the injured man to a hospital outside the canton.

The collision occurred at 12.15 p.m. on the Kernsertrasse in the direction of Stans, according to the Nidwalden cantonal police. Shortly before the junction with Rübibachstrasse, the 60-year-old Postbus driver overtook the e-bike rider.
