On Monday afternoon, a female e-biker was seriously injured in an accident in Köniz. The cause of the accident is still unclear, according to the Bern cantonal police.

The e-biker crashed shortly before 1 p.m. for reasons still to be clarified and subsequently crashed into a trailer train. She suffered serious injuries as a result, as the police reported in a statement on Monday.

The woman had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
