Fire Employee in hospital after fire at a company in Eschlikon TG

An employee of a company in Eschlikon TG has been taken to hospital for a check-up after a fire due to suspected smoke inhalation. The fire broke out in an electrical box on Saturday afternoon, according to the Thurgau cantonal police on Sunday.

The fire at the company on Hörnlistrasse was reported at 4.30 pm. The fire departments from Eschlikon and Bichelsee-Balterswil were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which had broken out in an electrical box.

According to the findings of the Thurgau cantonal police, the cause of the fire was a technical defect.
