The owner of the detached house granted the men access to the house on Thursday afternoon, as the Schaffhausen police reported on Friday. After the men found that everything was in order and left the house, the woman noticed the theft.

An incident involving alleged roofers had already occurred in the area on Wednesday, according to the Schaffhausen police. However, nothing was stolen. The police warn against letting strangers into the house.
