A farmer had a fatal accident in Ufhusen LU on Wednesday evening. The 35-year-old was driving a vehicle with a trailer attached to it across a steeply sloping meadow. The vehicle began to slide and overturned.

The man was so seriously injured in the accident that he died at the scene, Lucerne police announced on Thursday.
