Fire hazard with vacuum cleaners - three models are being recalled
Three models in the Flex series are being recalled. ESTIAnyone currently using a Rowenta cordless vacuum cleaner should take a close look: The manufacturer is recalling three models of the popular X-Force Flex series. According to the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (Esti), the affected appliances pose a risk of fire and burns due to faulty batteries.
According to Esti, all models in the X-Force 15.60 and 14.60 series that were on sale in Switzerland are affected. The following devices should no longer be used:

Xiaomi recalls Power Bank 33W 20000 mAh
Xiaomi recalls in cooperation with the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI) the Power Bank Xiaomi 33W Power Bank 20000 mAh. The product can overheat in certain situations, posing a risk of fire and burns. Consumers are asked to stop using the device.

Lidl recalls "Freshona raspberries"
Lidl is publicly recalling "Freshona frozen raspberries" with the best-before date 11.07.2027. Reason: Cadmium above the legal maximum level has been detected in the product.

Stokomani Maxi Bazar recalls the product "waterproof bag, 15l, Vertero".
The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and the Department of Consumer Protection of the Canton of Valais announce the recall of the waterproof bag Vertero, 15 liters, sold by Stokomani Maxi Bazar. All the bags sold are affected.
The following product is being recalled. ZVGAn increased concentration of phthalates has been detected in the bags. These substances can have a carcinogenic effect, impair reproduction and trigger hormonal disorders. Children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers are particularly at risk.

Recall of certain eye drops Spersallerg SDU
The Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products Swissmedic reports: Théa Pharma SA is recalling the eye drops Spersallerg SDU, 20 monodoses of 0.3 ml with the batches 9T48 (best before 05/2027, on sale from October 2024 to January 2025) and 2V33 (best before 07/2027, on sale from January 2025). The medicine is used to treat allergic eye complaints, among other things.
The recall is being carried out because contamination and a rising pH value were detected during the shelf life of these batches. This can cause eye irritation and adverse reactions. Children, the elderly and people with existing eye conditions are particularly at risk. The pH value indicates the acidity of a solution.
Affected packs must no longer be used. Consumers should return them to pharmacies, doctors' surgeries or drugstores. Anyone who has already used the drops and notices symptoms should seek medical advice.

Velofabrik recalls carbon forks
In cooperation with the BFU, Velofabrik is recalling certain carbon forks that were installed on bicycles of the Apex (sold between 01.07.2022 and 29.04.2025) and Magma (sold between 26.07.2023 and 29.04.2025) models.

Public warning: Turkey and poultry merguez with salmonella in circulation
The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office and the Canton of Geneva are issuing a warning about turkey and poultry merguez of the brand "Galliwag" with the batch number 9775000217 and the use-by date 19.08.2025.
The product was sold at Aligro, Manor and Tamoil.
Salmonella (bacteria) was detected in the sausages. These can cause fever, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain after consumption. Young children, elderly people, pregnant women and people with a weakened immune system are particularly at risk.
Do not consume affected products. Anyone who develops symptoms after eating the product should consult a doctor.

Choking hazard: therapy swing for children from TheKiddoSpace
In cooperation with the responsible cantonal enforcement authority, the company SN Ecommerce LLP is recalling the "Therapy swing for children" of the brand TheKiddoSpace. The following information was published by the authorities' website Recall Swiss.
All versions sold between November 16, 2023 and March 6, 2025 via the website Kiddospace.de are affected. The swings were offered in different colors and with motif prints and were each sold with a blue bag with logo, assembly material and white wash bag.

Recall: Brie Mariotte due to listeria
The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) is issuing a warning about individual batches of the French cheese "Brie Mariotte". Listeria (Listeria monocytogenes) was found in the affected products.
These are bacteria that usually only cause mild symptoms in healthy people, but can be dangerous or even fatal for pregnant women, newborns and people with weakened immune systems.
Batches C5153087 (use by date July 30, 2025), C5161090 (August 6, 2025) and C5168135 (August 13, 2025) are affected. The cheese was sold at various retailers.
The FSVO recommends not eating and disposing of these batches. The manufacturer "Laiteries Réunies Genève" has already withdrawn the affected products from sale.

The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) warns against "apricot kernels sweet dried" of the brand Naturkost F&S Furchat and Sakir with a best-before date of March 31, 2026. The product was sold at various retailers and immediately withdrawn from the market.
Tests revealed greatly increased levels of hydrogen cyanide (prussic acid). This natural substance in apricot kernels can cause severe poisoning.

"I AM" cleaning cloths at Migros
The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) warns against cleansing wipes for normal & combination skin of the brand I AM (article number 5266.315, batch 5159723). The wipes were sold throughout Switzerland in Migros stores and in the Migros online store.
The bacterium Pluralibacter gergoviae was detected in the wipes. It can cause skin irritation or infections in sensitive people. People with a weakened immune system or skin injuries are particularly at risk.
Do not use affected products. A specialist should be consulted if you are unsure after using the product.
