Eastern Switzerland Firefighter in hospital after car fire in Sulgen

A firefighter was injured during an operation involving a car fire in Sulgen TG on Saturday lunchtime. He was taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.

Shortly before midday, a parked car caught fire on Bühlstrasse, as reported by the Thurgau cantonal police on Sunday. The flames then spread to a second car. According to initial findings, the police fire investigation service is assuming a technical defect.
