Traffic accident Four-year-old crashes into car with bicycle in Buchberg SH

A four-year-old crashed his bike into a car on a local road in Buchberg in the canton of Schaffhausen on Wednesday afternoon. The boy was injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.

The four-year-old was riding down the gently sloping Birkenweg. As he entered Birkenstrasse, he collided head-on with a car approaching at a "reasonable speed", according to the Schaffhausen police, as they reported on Thursday.

The driver and local residents looked after the child until the emergency services arrived and took him to hospital.
