According to the Schaffhausen police, these calls do not originate from the regional Spitex. It can be assumed that these are deceptive maneuvers with fraudulent intent. The public is therefore urged to exercise caution.

End the call immediately

Anyone who receives such a call should end the conversation immediately and call the official Spitex telephone number to find out whether contact has actually been made. It is also advisable to check the identity of the suspected Spitex employee by telephone if a visit has been arranged.
