In St. Gallen, a limousine driver committed a hit-and-run on Saturday evening. He had previously crossed into the oncoming lane, causing a motorcyclist to fall and injure himself slightly.

The accident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m., as reported by the St. Gallen city police on Sunday. A motorcyclist was driving on Ahornstrasse in the direction of Oberstrasse, at the same time a limousine was driving in the opposite direction on the opposite carriageway. According to the statement, the limousine was steered into the motorcyclist's lane. In order to prevent a collision, the motorcyclist steered his vehicle to the right, causing him to fall.

The limousine then accelerated - and drove on without stopping. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries in the fall. As the course of the accident is unclear, the St. Gallen city police are looking for witnesses.
