Berne Man robbed at Biel station

Unknown persons attacked and robbed a man in Biel last Thursday evening. The incident took place at around 6 pm on the station square.

The man was approached and threatened by two strangers, as reported by the regional public prosecutor's office and the Bern cantonal police on Tuesday. When the man refused to hand over his shoulder bag, he was punched in the face by a third person.

The perpetrators seized the victim's cell phone and a card holder and fled in an unknown direction. After being punched in the face, the man had to see a doctor. The perpetrators are still on the run and the police are looking for witnesses.
