Messe Luzern AG achieved a turnover of 12.6 million Swiss francs in the 2023/24 financial year. A year earlier, turnover amounted to CHF 15.2 million, compared to CHF 14.3 million in the 2021/22 financial year.

"We are very satisfied with the result, considering that we are operating in a volatile environment," said Markus Lauber, CEO of Messe Luzern AG, in the press release.

EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) amounted to CHF 0.2 million in the past financial year. In 2022/23, the annual profit amounted to 0.6 million francs.

Messe Luzern held 114 trade and public exhibitions, corporate and music events, meetings and conferences last year. These were attended by 242,000 people. The most successful event was Luga with 130,000 visitors.

Messe Luzern considers the Central Switzerland education fair Zebi, which has developed from a "classic trade fair" into an "education platform", to be a success. Of the 24,000 visitors, over 20,000 obtained information online via the zebi.ch website, according to Messe Luzern.
