Traffic accident Motorcyclist injured after overtaking maneuver
A motorcyclist sustained undetermined injuries in a collision with a car in Brunnadern SG on Friday. The 45-year-old was flown to hospital by Rega.

The accident occurred at 5.20 p.m. when a 72-year-old man was driving his car from Lichtensteig SG in the direction of Brunnadern and intended to turn off, as reported by the St. Gallen cantonal police on Saturday. At the same time, the motorcyclist wanted to overtake two cars, which resulted in a collision.
The motorcyclist crashed and skidded several meters along the road, the motorcycle came to a standstill in the meadow, according to the statement. The motorcyclist sustained undetermined injuries.
Wasserfluhstrasse had to be closed for around two hours. The fire department was called out to direct traffic.
