Traffic accident Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision on Lake Thun

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in Merligen on Monday evening. He collided with a car on the lakeside road, according to the Bern cantonal police on Tuesday. They are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.

According to initial findings, the motorcyclist was traveling in the direction of Thun when he collided with a car shortly after the Niederhornbahn for an unclear reason. After receiving first aid, he was flown to hospital by Rega. The Seestrasse remained closed for several hours.
