Media Nemo cancels interview with Bieler Tagblatt
ESC star Nemo has broken off an interview with the Bieler Tagblatt newspaper as part of the Lakelive Festival. When the journalist wanted to ask questions about the politicized Eurovision Song Contest, Nemo's press officer intervened, according to the daily newspaper.

The plan was to ask questions about Israeli ESC participant Eden Golan, according to the article in the Bieler Tagblatt. The interview took place during Nemo's performance at the Lakelive Festival on Wednesday and was published on Friday.
When the journalist persisted with the topic, Nemo ended the interview. "The questions feel like an attack," the newspaper quoted the multi-talented artist as saying. "The fact that this is coming from Biel makes me very sad, to be honest." The questions were asked rhetorically, so Nemo "can only lose with the answer".
The management's instructions in advance were that political questions and questions about Nemo's private life were to be avoided, the article continues. The daily newspaper then referred to press law and received permission to ask political questions. It was the Bieler Tagblatt's first interview with superstar Nemo since his ESC victory three months ago.
